Had a chance to play this. It was a great little game!

A Short Narrative Experience | In The Dark Wake

Would be cool to play this game on my browser, while I've just watch LordofNope's video about it & I like the starting-scene, gameplay, gender-neutral faces/humans within the game's story and especially its ending, while the interactive walking-parts do look awesome too.

Played your game in a video. It was engaging to find the alternate endings. My only complaint would be to increase the move speed as it felt like it took forever to get around even though it was such a small area.

Your game starts at 4:52

Great game. We enjoyed it very much.

We got 4 endings.

Very sad.

We absolutely love your videos. Thanks for supporting us again with your content. Stay tuned, we have another game on the way later this month. Check us out on twitter for news about it and screen shots from the work we have in progress. Can't wait to see more from you. Your reaction to that last ending you got was priceless.  Hope you try for a different ending.

It's a pleasure playing your games. What's your twitter so I can follow you.

@GoodEnoughGang

Apologies for not posting it earlier.

I really enjoyed my experience with this, it felt very lonesome and haunting the whole time. Really love the attention to detail throughout the world and the choice of the characters being "light" silhouettes was such a rad concept. Will follow you for future releases.

Funny stuff, I tweeted out to you. Thanks again.

Really happy you enjoyed the video and saw the tweet they could have had a happy ending if they could just ate dinner before the guy in the boat showed up or invited him to dinner and asked him to bring some extra food then they could all be happy

I think ending 4 was a good ending, right? I don't want to spoil it, but everything turns out alright in that one, right?

In the Dark Wake starts at 11:59.

Lol! We actually came across your video earlier today on you tube and also subscribed to you. We enjoyed watching your play through to all  four endings. The ending in question wasn't necessarily good, but it was the best outcome you could get.  Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you! I wasn't sure if the two boys actually became the fish on the ending screen the way that characters sometimes do in parables.

That's correct, it was meant to be symbolic in that very nature, good catch!

Amazing game with unexpected endings. It was fun and easy to follow.

Love the choice of art style in this game. Hope there will be more to come!

Here's my lets play:

Thank you so much for playing! I just watched your play through and I really enjoyed watching you take the time to make your decisions on what to say and where to go. I'm glad the narrative was able to reach you in a way that made you think about it being like poetry. Thanks so much for taking the time to make this. On a side note I'm glad to see you were able to make use of the 21:9 aspect. We design our games to be playable on 16:9 but we both work using 21:9 monitors and we added the ability to enjoy the games in both. Great Video!

Very well done! I enjoyed finding the different endings. It's short but it is worth it!
